Former Pupil Success

Jodie Wilson, a recent former pupil (2007 – 2013) & Head Girl got in touch to let us know of her recent success.

She completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture at the Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow in June 2019. The Royal Institute of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) awarded her the Rowand Anderson Silver Medal for best 5th Year student across the five Scottish Schools of Architecture, and her thesis project “Strangely Familiar” is being exhibited at the New Contemporaries 2020 exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy on The Mound, running from 15 February to 11 March 2020.

Jodie now lives in London and is working for If_Do, a small award-winning architectural practice. Being in London she cannot visit the school, but says that if any students at Broughton are considering a career in architecture, she would be very happy to hear from them and give them whatever support she can to help them follow her into the world of Architecture.
