A Broughton High School group attended The Royal Lyceum’s production of ‘The Seagull’ on 23 October, with a meet and greet with the cast beforehand, who were all Broughton students, along with our Drama teacher, Ms Wyman.

Before the show, our students and teachers got to join a special pre-show chat with actors Lorn MacDonald, Harmony Rose-Bremner, and Tallulah Greive – all proud Broughton alumni.  Lorn and Tallulah also trained at the Lyceum Youth Theatre, so it was a really special full-circle moment seeing them back on The Lyceum stage.

The discussion gave our students a chance to ask the actors about how they got started, their careers and the skills they’ve learned along the way that have helped them grow in the creative industries. The actors were thrilled to catch up with some of their old teachers, a lovely reminder of how encouragement, guidance and a strong community can really help young people achieve their goals. It was also a wonderful celebration of Scottish talent and the support that helps young performers thrive.
