It has been great to welcome all our young people back to school after the holidays. We also had the privilege of hosting the First Minister John Swinney, who wished to meet with some of our young people to hear about a range of matters currently affecting them. The students were fantastic ambassadors for their peers and the discussions were engaging and enlightening!
Just as the sun starts to shine, SQA Exam season arrives. We wish each of our young people the very best with the completion of their qualifications whether this is through externally assessed exams or assignments.
We will be holding Assemblies with our S1-S3 students to reinforce our expectations of being Ready, Respectful and Safe at school. This will include reminders about punctuality, dress code, litter and mobile phone use. To create a quieter environment in school during the exam period we will be encouraging our junior pupils to either be in the Hub (dining area), outside (weather permitting) or at Clubs during social times. General access to corridors and stairwells will be restricted.
We are keen to hear your views about the school so would kindly ask you to complete the following Parent/Carer Survey by Tuesday 7 May. This feedback will help us to identify our school priorities over the next 1-3 years and ensure that together we achieve more at Broughton.
