Yesterday, 30 September, was the final round of trials for the Under 15s Edinburgh select football squad. This morning we heard that the following boys have made it into the squad:
- Aaron Downie
- Harry Gordon-Walker
- Khody Duke
- Samvab Tiwari
- Ngary Bittaye
- Arthur Schwichtenberg
This is an incredibly impressive achievement considering there were 80 pupils at the first trial and only 18 being selected to represent the whole of Edinburgh. Furthermore, it was mentioned by the organisers that this year has been the most competitive year they have had in a long time.
The boys have represented Broughton excellently so far and it is brilliant to have such a strong showing of success at Broughton represented on the regional stage.
