Dear Pupils, Staff, Parents & Carers

I am honoured and excited to introduce myself as the acting Head Teacher of Broughton High School.  It is a privilege to be able to contribute to the school’s ongoing success.  Broughton has long been recognised for its high academic standards and outstanding achievements.  The recent SQA results uphold these, and I would congratulate all pupils who have completed qualifications and awards!

The accomplishments of our young people are testament to the dedication and hard work of the entire school community.  I am committed to maintaining and building upon this legacy of excellence.

Every young person, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves the opportunity to maximise their learning and achieve the best outcomes.  I believe that together we achieve more, and I look forward to working across the Broughton Team to support the existing vision and uphold our values of integrity, respect and inclusion.

It is our goal that each young person will be confident, successful and able to contribute effectively and responsibly to society.  This will be achieved if together as a school:
