Duke of Edinburgh Award

The Bangholm DofE group is run by The City of Edinburgh Council Outdoor Learning and Adventure Education team. 

Here is an information sheet explaining how the group will work and outlining the timeline from registration through to offer of a place in the Bangholm group.  This is all applicable to pupils from S3 upwards, and outwith Broughton UP, who wants to take part in the DofE Award.

If you would like to register your interest for a place in the Bangholm DofE group, please follow this link to complete a Microsoft Form. https://forms.office.com/e/PLApV8Sgqt .  Please note that completing this form does not guarantee a place in the group.  The closing date for registering interest is midnight on 10 October 2025.

Please note that successful applicants will be required to attend an introductory meeting on 29 October from 6-7pm.  This is an in-person meeting held at Bangholm Outdoor Centre, 23 Craighall Gardens, EH6 4RJ.
